1.
Stand your model on a table or workbench |

2.
Clamp its base firmly down onto the table. |

3. On
each floor, place the mass you calculated for the vertical load test.
|
4. Secure
the masses in place. You can use hot melt glue, but you will probably
have to replace paper floors afterwards. |
5. Fix the Low-g
accelerometer firmly to the top of your model. You
can use double sided tape for this or blu-tack. |

6.
Plug the accelerometer firmly into the CBL 2. You will need to use
a CBL-DIN adapter with an old Vernier accelerometer.

7. Connect the CBL
2 to your TI Graphing Calculator using a unit-to-unit link cable
. Check the connections are plugged in firmly at both ends. |
